Dance Company Project Sally makes dance performances for young people and anyone young at heart.
Quirky, touching and unexpected!
Dance Company Project Sally Maastricht, led by Stefan Ernst and Ronald Wintjens, creates special dance performances, educational dance projects and poetic dance films for young and old. In the dance performances of Project Sally contemporary dance and universal themes are fused into a heart warming poetic visual idiom. Abstraction and realism come together without a bow towards the young audience. The sensitivity and imagination in the work of the creators captures the imagination of the audience. A unique signature that distinguishes Project Sally from others.
In Maastricht, on the border where the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany meet, young dancers gather from around the world to flourish their talents, to speak the language and aesthetics of dance and to inspire and literally moving a young audience.
Since its founding in 2005, Project Sally successful brought youth dance performances on stage, including Super, Vreemde Eend, Hij Komt, Atelier, Schwalbe and BLAUW. Work of Project Sally was also seen in Galili Dance, Conny Janssen Danst, Introdans, Saarländisches Staatstheater, Cameleon Montreux, Noord Nederlandse Dans, Nederlandse Dansdagen, Danshuis Station Zuid, Productiehuis Brabant, Dansgroep Amsterdam, Jeugddansgezelschap De Stilte and Het Huis voor de Kunsten Limburg. Dance Magazine Ballet-tanz rated their online dance film cinema TheMovingCinema.com as best dance site.
