Pablo Fontdevila

In 2009 he graduated from the renowned School for New Dance Development (SNDO), Amsterdam. He received the prestigious Huygens Scholarship granted by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science.

Pablo Fontdevila is a choreographer, dancer and lighting designer. His dance productions consists of, amongst others: la vejez de las paredes…, half of the piece about disappearing, Smaller, slower, unproductive and resentful and Japón. They have been presented in The Netherlands, Germany, Japan, Mexico and Argentina. He performed in projects by Steve Paxton, Diego Gil, David Weber-Krebs, Nora Heilmann and others. He designed lighting for dance, music and opera performances in Argentina, The Netherlands, Belgium and Mexico.

His work focuses on the creative process and in exploring new choreographic methodologies.

In 2010 Pablo was selected to do a research project at Dansmakers Amsterdam.
